Grief Tenders tincture
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), lungs are the organ of grief and that emotion has the potential to get stuck in that area of our body, showing up as congestion, persistent coughs, lung infections and other “weaknesses” in the lungs.
The intelligence of our experiences are so amazing and the innate wisdom of our herbal allies are forever humbling me.
So today, Elecampane, Jujube, Burdock, Linden, Milky Oats, Tulsi, Rosemary and Cardamon show up to support us in this season as grief tenders.
Elecampane for moving those stuck emotions out of our lungs and allowing us to release through our tears, Jujube for holding us through the waves of emotions, Burdock for helping us to process and clear out what gets stirred up during transitions, initiations and big life experiences, Linden for tenderly holding us in her motherly embrace, Milky Oats for nourishing us during these times, Tulsi for helping us move stuck emotions, Rosemary for supporting us in grounding more into our bodies, kindling aliveness and invoking our forgotten ancestral memory and Cardamon for stimulating life-force in our hearts.
Our herbal allies are one layer of support in the whole of what carries us along in this one, wild and precious life.
