
Kapha Paste
Spring is the time of Kapha or Earth and Water energy. There is a tendency toward accumulated mucus and excess dampness at this time of year. A traditional remedy for mucus congestion and excess dampness is black pepper, anise seed and ginger powder, mixed with honey to form a thick paste. Stimulating Agni, or digestive fire and preventing congestion can keep us in balance and harmony, This blends acts as a natural antihistamine as well. Great for the transition from Winter into Spring as well as for Kapha constitutions any time of year!
All ingredients organic, local, garden grown and/or respectfully wildcrafted: Anise seed (Pimpinella anisum), Ginger root (Zingiber officinale), Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) & Raw Local Honey

1/16-1/4 tsp. is traditionally taken before meals to warm digestion and prevent stagnation. Can also be used to support respiratory congestion and prevent and soothe allergy symptoms.
